Charter stricken for failure to pay taxes on July 1, 1918.

Farmer Print, 97 Front St., Portland. Certificate is signed by the Secretary, Joseph Fletcher, but not by the President. Embossed seal affixed, lower left. Not cancelled.

Oregon Electric Railway

The Oregon Electric Railway, Preferred Shares, 1909. The OERY was incorporated in Oregon in 1906, and was eventually merged into the Spokane, Portland & Seattle (SP&S).

There were not many of these (Preferred Shares) issued, and almost all that were issued, were issued in 1909. According to the stubs, the first was issued in 1908, and the last four were issued in 1910.

The certificate is printed by the Broun-Green Co, 48 John St. NY. In the upper corners appear two different electric lanterns; in the lower corners, a dynamo and a telephone. There is an embossed seal near the lower left corner.

We have a few of these, so you may not receive the one shown in the image; however, they are all of like condition. They were all folded for mailing and storage.

We will ship this in a flat mailer, unfolded.

Price: $135.00 + shipping.

Mount Hood Railroad Company

This road was owned by the Eccles family, a banking family of Salt Lake City.

A scarce certificate. Although slightly toned with age, this is otherwise clean. A minor flaw is a short tear in the left fold, at the bottom (3/8").

Issued; not cancelled.

Price: $135.00 + shipping.

Dubuque & Sioux City Railroad Co. Bond
